What is your watch doing?
Pick the symptom, tell us which Tudor it is, and we'll show you what the research actually says — including the "faults" that usually turn out not to be faults at all.
What is your watch doing?
Pick the one that matches best. If more than one applies, start with whichever worries you most — you can come back and try another.
Chronograph won't reset to zero
The coupling is under load. Continuing can bend the hammer or heart piece.

Condensation or fog under the crystal
Corrosion starts within hours. Pull the crown out to stop and vent it.

Crown won't screw down
Zero water resistance now, and forcing it destroys more thread with each attempt.

Grinding or metallic scraping
Metal on metal. Every turn creates more damage and more debris. A loose rotor, screw or detached part is circulating inside a lubricated mechanism.

Hands stopped but the seconds hand keeps running
An escapement, train or hairspring fault — or debris.

Which Tudor is it?
The reference off the caseback, the rehaut, or the guarantee card — or the model name if it's a current in-house calibre.
I don't know my reference
Look for it in one of three places:
- Caseback — stamped into the metal on the back of the watch.
- Rehaut — engraved on the inner ring under the crystal, on most watches made since the late 2010s. Often prefixed with an "M".
- Guarantee card — printed in the reference field of the card that came with the watch.
Still not sure? Tell us the era instead
We'll show what applies across the whole era rather than to one exact calibre.
